The first of its kind!  This butter keeper will keep your butter soft and fresh on the counter and it is a mushroom!

fill the bell on the lid with butter; than add about an inch of water. When you put the lid back on the mushroom the water creates a seal keeping the butter fresh. 

the rim of the bell became a bit distorted in the last firing (see the last photo) but it is totally functional and whimsical.
